Premier Energies Ltd., a prominent Indian solar manufacturer, has recently unveiled its latest 620 W DCR solar module, a product that represents a significant stride towards more efficient and reliable solar energy generation.

Featuring 132 half-cut bifacial cells on G12R rectangular wafers, this module incorporates n-type TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) cell technology, reflecting the latest advancements in solar engineering.

With a bifaciality rate of up to 85%, the design is optimized to capture more solar energy, making it ideal for both utility-scale and commercial rooftop applications.

High efficiency and reliable performance

The module boasts a power conversion efficiency of 22.95%, a figure that underscores its capability to generate substantial energy in various environments.

Additionally, its temperature coefficient of -0.29%/C ensures stable performance under varying conditions, making it a reliable choice for a wide range of applications.

Chiranjeev Saluja, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Premier Energies, emphasized that the introduction of 620 W DCR panels marks one of the first offerings of its kind on the market, providing a future-ready solution that enables solar power investors and consumers to extract greater energy and value from each ray of sunlight.

He further noted that the launch serves as a powerful demonstration of how advanced module design can drive innovation in the sector while delivering top-tier solar solutions tailored to the specific requirements of the market.

Shaping a sustainable energy environment

By adopting advanced technologies such as TOPCon architecture and the G12R n-type cell format, Premier Energies aims to increase string power and optimize the balance of system (BOS), resulting in higher solar energy efficiency.

These enhancements not only improve energy output but also support broader environmental goals by reducing reliance on non-renewable resources and contributing to a more sustainable energy landscape.

As renewable energy targets grow more ambitious worldwide, the introduction of advanced modules like the 620 W DCR is expected to play a pivotal role in accelerating the adoption and integration of solar power solutions across diverse markets.
